The Electric State (2025) Folder Icon Pack

The Electric State (2025) Folder Icon Pack

Based partially on Simon Stålenhag's 2018 illustrated novel of the same name, The Electric State represents an upcoming American science- fiction adventures movie filmed by Joe & Anthony Russo. Andy Muschietti revealed plans to turn the graphic novel into a movie. Later, in December 2020, the Russo brothers agreed to helm the movie. The movie's distribution rights were eventually purchased by Universal Pictures, and in June 2022, Netflix assumed control of them. During June 2022 to November 2024, a large portion of the crew was made public. The Electric State is expected to release on 14th March 2025.

When Joe & Anthony Russo purchased their rights in Simon Stålenhag's 2018 stated novella The Electric State, the movie was initially revealed in December 2017. Andy Muschietti was negotiating to direct, and the Russos were confirmed as producers. The script was to be written by the Russo brothers' regular collaborators, Stephen McFeely & Christopher Markus. Muschietti remained the executive producer on the work through his new production business, and the Russos now directed the movie when Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights in December 2020.

Since Universal no longer intended to distribute the movie in theaters, it was announced in June 2022 that the movie might have been distributed rights moved to Netflix. The movie's distribution by Netflix was confirmed later that month, and Chris Pratt was reportedly in discussions to co-star with Brown. In October 2022, principal filming on Stormwind, the working title, started in Atlanta. Production was momentarily halted on the fourth of November 2022, following the death of a staff member in an off-set vehicle accident. The formal end of filming was in earlier February 2023. At New York Comic Con, which took place on the seventeenth of October 2024, Netflix finally unveiled a teaser video. Fans who hoped for an immediate adaptation responded negatively to the news that the movie will substantially depart from the source material's original form in order to portray its own unique tale.

Anthony Russo stated that the team did find the initial material as intriguing and contrasted their experience of translating it to the Marvel films during the film's the panel, which explained these significant storyline modifications. However, he said that they found the tale hard to follow and thought the graphic novel didn't portray the world adequately, which made the concept of turning something into a two-hour movie problematic. In order to create a completely new tale that included the use of 1990s esthetic and the plot element of robotic animatronics acquiring artificial intelligence, they used the artwork as inspiration. The scenario portrayed them fighting for equal rights in a society that was retro-futuristic

Colin Trevorrow, who collaborated on the script along Amanda Silver, Rick Jaffa, and Derek Connolly, is the director of the 2015 American scientific-fiction action movie Jurassic World. Jurassic World is set on the same fictitious island of Isla Nublar, off the Pacific coastline of Costa Rica, 22 years after the final moments of Jurassic Park. The island has been home to a popular theme park featuring cloned dinosaurs called Jurassic World for many years, fulfilling John Hammond's goal. When a genetic dinosaur breaks out of its cage and proceeds on a rampage, the park is thrown into disarray, and more threats are created by a plot by park employees.

In 2004, Universal Pictures planned to start making the fourth Jurassic Park movie, which would be released in the middle of 2005. However, the project languished in development hell as the script was revised many times. The concept of a working dinosaur park was investigated by authors Jaffa and Silver at the request of executive producer Steven Spielberg. Trevorrow used the same concept when he and Connolly were working on a fresh script after Trevorrow was recruited as director in 2013. Filming took place in Louisiana - Hawaii between April and August of 2014. Similar to the other movies, Legacy Effects used life-sized animatronics while Lucasfilm's Advanced Light & Magic used computer-generated imagery to construct the dinosaurs.

On Isla Nublar, Zach and Gray Mitchell, brothers, go to Jurassic World, dinosaur-themed amusement park run by their paternal aunt Claire Dearing. She gives Zara, her assistant, the task of guiding the guys, but they avoid her and go exploring alone. In other parts of the island, ethologist and Navy veteran Owen Grady has been studying the intelligence of Blue, Charlie, Echo & Delta while training a Velociraptor squad. Vic Hoskins, the chief of InGen security, thinks the raptors may be used as weapons because they can obey orders, but Owen and his aide Barry strongly disagree.

May 2015 saw the completion of production. On June 12, 2015, Universal Pictures released Jurassic World in theaters across the United States. Reviews were largely positive, and several reviewers said it was the finest Jurassic Park sequel. movie broke a number of box office records when movie came out, including the biggest opening weekend both domestically and internationally. Thunderbolts (2025) Folder Icon

Thunderbolts (2025) Folder Icon

The forthcoming American superhero movie Thunderbolts* is based on the Thunderbolts squad from Marvel Comics. It is slated to be the 36th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and was produced by Marvel Studios and released via Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Jake Schreier is the director, while Lee Sung Jin, Eric Pearson, and Joanna Calo are the writers. In the movie, a gang of antiheroes who were arranged against their choice are compelled to join forces on a perilous mission. The creation of a Thunderbolts squad within the MCU was first hinted at by Marvel Studios. When Schreier & Pearson were connected in June 2022, it was announced that the movie was in development. In September of that year, the primary cast members of the movie were announced, and more casting was done until the beginning of 2023.

By March 2023, Lee, one of multiple creatives who rejoined Schreier during the Netflix original series Beef (2023), had joined to rework the film's script. Due to production delays brought on by the 2023 labor issues in Hollywood, some performers left the movie, and Calo joined in early 2024. Trilith Studios & Atlanta Metro Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, hosted the production from February to June 2024. Additional filming was conducted in Utah. Thunderbolts*, the last movie in Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be premiered in the US on May 2, 2025.

The initial plan was for the six-month filming to start in mid-June 2023. Marvel Studios allegedly planned on capturing what could be accomplished during main filming and make any required writing revisions during the film's scheduled in advance reshoots, thus it was previously not anticipated that the writers' strike would have an impact. But in the end, the writers' strikes and the SAG-AFTRA strike caused a delay in the filming process. Stan gained weight to play Donald Trump for The Apprentice (2024), which ran concurrently with the original production schedule. When the strikes started, he had already started the physical change required to play Barnes, and he had to go back.

Pugh unveiled the film's new logo in March, which included the title Thunderbolts*. A number of commenters asked why the emblem had an asterisk. The following month, Feige affirmed revealed Thunderbolts* were the official title & promised to explain the usage of the asterisk after the movie's May 5, 2025, release date—which was then rescheduled to May 2, 2025. This resulted in ongoing conjecture on the significance of the an asterisk throughout the title.

Former NASA test pilot Joseph Cooper, who is widowed, is a farmer who lives with his father-in-law Donald and raises his two children, Tom and Murph. Cooper is chastised by Murph's professors for informing her believe the missions of Apollo were real, while living in an after-truth world. The two learn that the dust patterns in Murph's chamber, which she initially believes to be a ghost, are really caused by a gravitational anomaly that translate into geographic locations during a dust storm. They follow these to a covert NASA facility run through Professor John Brand, he tells that 48 years prior, a wormhole had formed close to Saturn, revealing a system in a another galaxy dubbed Gargantua that included twelve possibly livable planets.

In the past, volunteers from the Lazarus mission had used the wormhole to assess the planets & Edmunds, Miller & Mann had returned with positive findings. Cooper is recruited to pilot an endurance-equipped spaceship across a wormhole as part of an attempt to guarantee the survival of mankind by colonizing an Earth that is habitable with 5,000 frozen embryos. In the meantime, Professor Brand would keep working on a gravity equation that, if solved, would ostensibly make it possible to build spaceships for an escape from Earth. Cooper agrees despite Murph's objections and vows to come back. He leaves his wristwatch for her to compare their respective times when he returns because she won't let him go.
