Masashi Kishimoto's manga series of the same name provided the model for the Japanese anime television show Naruto. Naruto Uzumaki, teens ninja who aspires to be the Hokage, ruler of his village, and wants acceptance from his peers, is the protagonist of the tale. The anime series is separated into two parts, just like the manga. The first series is set approximately Naruto's preteen years and keeps the title of the original manga.
