Sam Wilson, commonly referred to as Captain America, will make an appearance in the forthcoming American superhero movie Captain America: Brave New World, and this is based on Marvel Comics. It is slated to come out in the 35th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the fourth installment in the Captain America film series. It was developed by Marvel Studios and published by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.Rob Edwards and the editing groups of Malcolm Spellman & Dalan Musson and Onah & Peter Glanz authored the screenplay, which Julius Onah is filming. Featuring Xosha Roquemore, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Shira Haas Giancarlo Esposito, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford, Anthony Mackie performs Sam Wilson/Captain America. Wilson becomes the central focus of a global incident in the movie.
The Captain America trilogy, which features Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, came to its finale with Captain America: Civil War (2016). Wilson steps over as Captain America in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. By April 2021, Spellman and Musson, the series' makers had started work on a new Captain America movie. Later that month, the official title of Captain America: New World Order was made public, Onah joined in July 2022, and Mackie signed on that August. Later in 2022, additional crew actors joined.Nelson staged another appearance in The Incredible Hulk (2008), the second MCU movie, and Ford adopted William Hurt's position as Thaddeus Ross after Hurt's funeral. In the movie, Ross becomes both the superhuman Red Hulk and the president of the country of America. Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, hosted the shooting from March to June 2023, with additional locations in Washington, D.C. During shooting, the subtitle was changed to Brave New World. Working for shoots again that took done between May and November 2024, Matthew Orton joined in December 2023. In December, it emerged to the public that Edwards and Glanz were both involved.
Phase Five of the MCU is set to include the release of Captain America: Brave New World in the USA on February 14, 2025.In mid-January 2025, tracking committed Quorum revealed unofficial box office assumptions for the movie, predicting that it will take in between $86 and $95 million on its first weekend as well as over $100 million during the four-day weekend from Valentine's Day to Presidents' Day. This is close to the $95 million debut weekend of The Winter Soldier. An opening of at least $90 million had been recommended by further inspection, which was published later in January.
